If you go into the passenger footwell, peal back the foam gently, and then you will see a few screws on the far left, take them out and the bottom of the fan unit comes off. The pack is in there its a green coily resistor type thingy about 2 inch long. You unscrew it, pull the leads off and then reverse what you just did after bunging the new one on.
Bet you can't get the foam back in a fashion where it stays back!!!

That foam stuff takes the p*** sometimes, did you know, its meant to be held in place with plastic screws with large heads on them, PLUS a large re-useable strap/cable tie - this strap is nearly £20, mine did not come with it

Re-usable my arse. They are about as re-usuable as a firework. Mine has the AC and stuff and this makes the whole thing worse. The other models are less of a pain.

couldn't you use some tie-wraps? Besides, how did you get it off? You don't need to get it off to get to the resistor pack, just fold it back over it the blower is on the car left next to the A pilar.
