I have a 1.0L which as all probably know is that it is the basic version of the polo range.

What is the best thing to ues to soundproof my engine as i havent got any spongy stuff on the underside of my bonnet. I was thinking DYNAMAT but i dunno. Any Ideas?

HUSH MAT!

its cheaper than dynamat..... much better too.
easy to use, just peel and stick! no heat gun required, and its very strong!

my whole car was stripped, only had the dash inside.... and i plasterd my car in it! roof, floor, rear quarters, doors.... everything!

also.... put it on the inside of your bass box.... keeps the bass inside and gives a much better thump as its all compressed air.

and if you want to go really far.... use yacht paint and paint the inside of your box. this paint is used on boats as its air tight and water proof. also flexible so it wont crack.

my car now sounds like a earth quake coming to a town near you!

lol :D

ps.... depends on what audio your using. dont expect wonders from a £29.99 sub and £59.99 amp....

exactly!

i think dynamat is nearer to 30-35 quid a roll?

and that for the so called "good stuff"...

personally i dont rate it.
i think its just a big hoo haa and the name is so well known that they just stuck a silly price tag on it.
