Hi Guys,
I recently noticed my windows keep steaming up more than they should.
Today Lunch time I leave work to find my windows have steamed up, I look around and Im the only one with steamed up windows. At first I thought it was outside (for some weird reason) then realised its iniside.
Any ideas why this is happening?
Many Thanks!

sounds like you might have a leak in your car - are your footwells damp or boot carpet damp?

I haven't noticed any dampness. Will double check next time it steams up.
If it was a leak whats the most likely place it could be coming from?
Many Thanks

rear lights, rear wash wipe tube, drain holes blocked in the scuttle under the bonnet. wet carpets from your shoes?

mine got like that just before my heater matrix went, must have been moisture in the blowers i think,i could never clear it anyway,i hope it aint that mate,it is a nasty job,you cant smell anything funny when your blowers are on can you,if so id invest in a haynes manual.its very popular on mk4s apparently.

no funny smells coming from the blower...
I'll see if it keeps happening & investigate...
I hate investing money in stupid unecessary repairs.
Cheers guys

Try removing your pollen filter and seeing if that helps - it worked on my Cordoba.

Same happened to my Polo when i first got it.
I had a damp patch behind the drivers seat.
Turned out my door seal was broken - got that fixed and its fine now.
Just check for damp patches.

Seems like someone is getting some action in your car!
My parents old car used to steam up big time... worst was when the heaters were turned on... there was a leak into the heater matrix thingy.

Hi
Do you have your air recirculating switch turned on and using same air over and over again. Logo is like an arrow going round in circles.
Other thought, are the air vents in the boot area clear and not blocking stale air from escaping.
Hope this helps.
