I’ve just fitted some 15'' rims on my polo 1.4 8v. Now it looks like a tractor, I wanna fit some lowering springs bit I don’t know how low I should go. I still want the car to be drivable so I don’t want to lower it that much as around my area their loads of road humps.

Best thing imo is so that the wheel arch it level with the top of your tyre. All depends on the size of your tyre too.

60mm springs/shocks should sit nicely, some nice coilys on ebay at the moment, shouldnt cause too much grief.

done mine by 40mm it looks gd, but needs to be much lower for the true euro look. 40mm make is fit the arches. and with a few people in my car it looks well low
i would go for coilys as well. does anyone who how low you can possibly go before its sitting on the wheels lol? i would love to try coilover on there lowest setting
