dont think itll fit, as the mk5 was based on an mk4 (i had 1 u see

) and from memory is quite narrow, i dont think it has enough room to accomdate the base/tray thing in at the bottom..if u see what im talking about.

sorry guys, have corrected it now.
i'm really eager to get an armrest, and dont want it to look too out of place - just feel like its the one thing missing from a good interior

The Kamei German website
http://www.kamei.de/ww/en/pub/products.cfm lists both leather and fabric centre armrests for the Polo 6N, but not the 6N2 specifically. I'd suggest checking with a UK Kamei supplier.
Personally I can't really see the attraction, I associate arm rests with driving sedate automatic Mercs, not rapid VW GTI's. But hey, each to their own

i would be interested in doing this if anybody tries first
i got a mk4 golf sitting outside with a lovely cream leather armrest
looks abit hard as i take it you need the handbrake surround too ??
