all separate things it seems!
the window motor has probably corroded a little and won't shift because of this - try hitting the base of the door handle (the inside one) with the little-finger end of your fist. works every time for me. a good hit is needed though.
not sure about your cd player - had it got very warm?
is the abs expensive to fix?

yeah rich16v is right. Maybe those spiritual folk could fix the car - probably only cost you a tenner

you didn't hit it hard enough. i have to BELT mine. proper thwack!
alternatively, take the door card off and tap the motor with a metal hammer. this should work too.
best to check that you actually can hear a clicking noise when you press the switch though - perhaps there's no current getting to the motor?

When I was sitting the car I had the door closed and the inside light on. When I pressed the window switch there was a clicking sound from the switch itself (is that the noise you meant?) and the inside light flickered a bit when I pushed it (same think happened when I used the switch for the window that's working). Does that make sense?
Sounds to me like the motor for the leccy windows has burnt out or isnt working. If the interior light flickers the same when you press either switch, it probably means that power is being getting to the motor but it aint working for whatever reason.

those symptoms usually mean that the motor has ceased up - hence why hitting it works. i'm not joking when I said I hit it as hard as I can.
ok, take the trim off, and open up the fabric a little so you can get to the motor - and hit that with a metal hammer. that should work. not too hard on that one tho!
you'll keep getting the problem - that's where I got my "hitting" trick from. right at the base of the inner door handle.

no, the inner grab handle!
it works because the handle is connected to the structure with the motor on it - so a thwack loosens the corrosion on the motor and helps it on it's way.
hitting the outside of the car won't help, it'll make you look like a lunatic
