VW dash CD Player Harness?

the cable shown in the picture, what exactly is it for? Is it to power the unit? I thought the wire with blue plug end did that? Or is it for illumination?
anyone know the part number for it? Guess I need this cable?

Okay, if it can't be bought, what pins does it splice into on the car harness, then I can make my own...
Just two wires, one will tell it to illuminate when the car lights are one and im not sure what the other one is for
Does anyone know? Or a kind soul who has the Gamma/CD combo pull them out of the car and let me know the colours and pins they connect to?

rite removed my beta head unit for ya,
the wiring
black plug with offset clip plugs into powersupply between head unit and cd player
looking at male plug (clip top right)
1 2 3 4 CLIP
5 6 7 8
1= brown x2 wire also goes to small plug
2=grey/blue trace x2 wire also goes to small plug
3=yellow/red trace
4=green/grey trace
5=red/white trace
6=red/white trace
7=grey/white trace
8=blue/white trace
the black plug with 4 pins with clip in centre are for speakers
where wire x2 it is joined in plug!

Very useful info, can defo DIY it now
in case anyone else is interested:
the grey/blue is illumination sense (so lights only come on when you put the headlights or sidelights on)
and the brown is ground -ve
you can get the small black clip, two pin, from VW parts and then DIY the cable using push pins and splicing into the car loom on the correct pins as above
clip is 3B0 972 702 and is the same clip used for the speakers
sadly though, I now have two premade VW cables like this lol, managed to hunt them down... I might DIY mine for my car and sell the cables, as they are so rare to get hold off, defo something you cannot buy on its own - came with the box when you bought the cd player as an accessory brand new
obviously those with cd player from factory have this wire prefitted, just those looking to add a vw cd dash player or vw cd 6 cd dash changer will need it... most 2nd hand sellers do not include this lead
one cable just went for £15+ on ebay
