I bought some wheels the other week, they are 15'' bbs from a mk2 golf. The problem is that I haven’t got the little bolts that hold caps that hide the wheel nuts. I’ve been to loads of shops I haven’t been able to find some. I got some m8 bolts they go in a little bit but then the thread gets worn. Dues any one know what size the there thread could be

well if they're not M8 then I'm guessing you're looking at the old af system.

m8's sound too big - that's a 13mm head on the thing

did you try M6's? that sounds more like it? if M8 is very very close I'd go for a 1/2 inch AF bolt which is just a wee bit smaller.
