Thought about having tints done but worried about being pulled by PC Plod and told to take them off after 5mins and paying £150, anyone had or know of any problems with them?

mine isnt a GTI but is 35% all round > person to speak to is 'Tinter' over at Sileby, Leicestershire - sound bloke and top job

Mine are 35% round the sides and 50% at the rear and I've had no problems at all, I too was worried about getting into trouble with the Police but I was told at least they can see the driver then it should be no problem...Tinter, the chap that does the tinting had limo black on his Golf and he never experienced any problems and neither do the numerous Clios, BMWs and Saxos I see around London...I guess you would be unlucky if you did...

There just seems to be a large number of tinted cars up around Manchester that look as though they have been asked to remove the fronts. I was meant to be doing a group buy with dubpolo and others from tinter earlier on this year. May look into getting them done again sometime soon.
