heater control light.

the lights round my heater controls have stopped working, it happened the other day so I wacked it and it came back on no it wont, Ive took the panel off round the controls but wheres the bulb?

See the knob with the numbers round it , sure its the middle.

The but u use to turn it, (the bit that sticks out lol) pull that (pretty hard) and it will come out , the bulb is in there

Last time i went to VW think the bulb was about 1.20

its probably the bulb when mine died i hit it and it worked - few hrs later it died :D

EDIT : I need to stop typing in txt language !!

Yep, defo that middle knob that has to be pulled out - the bulb holder is behind it :)

When I first got my car, that bulb was blown - soon sorted it though

What kin dof bulb is it thats in there anyway?

could the colour of bulb be changed? and illuminate a different colour or is it a white bulb with coloured gels/filters

Won't be able to change the colour easily, as its a white bulb

The colour comes from some red plastic behind the controls, the white bulb sits in the centre of this and lights it up

Its a very small wedge type bulb I think, small anyway
