hi

new to the forum 2day,got a black polo gti,x reg,i'll get some pics up soon. Also trying to organise a track/meet day, prob at elvington airfield in york. Its being organised by myself and bookatrack. Just thought i would see if their any intrest in this,would be £120 to go on track with no charge for second drivers or passengers so could easily split the costs. Max attendance for the track is 39 cars,which is split into 3 groups of 13 cars per session (novice/intermediate/advanced). Can also come to meet up if not going on track,will be better day the more we have. As it doesnt cost anything to be a passenger you'll probally still end up going round the track with someone.

let me know if interested

cheers
maxwell

I'd be up for that if

- it's spring next year

- provided no one minds if I skip the option of bringing a 60 bhp 1.4 8V MKIV and bring my track day tool with a bit better power and a lot more grip and handling :wink:

Great Idea,

I would love to do a few top speed runs legally.

Would be best to organise for March onwards I reckon, get a load of names down and money up front etc.

Good chance for a load of GTIS to be re-united.

If it's anything like Brunters I'd no doubt be up for it, (ie. a big straight etc not any winding corners for me to lose control on :lol: )

EDIT: Suppose this answers my question
