alrite...i have a really weird problem in my Polo i wish i could resolve...if somebody can help me this would be great.

I have an alarm that i bought from Singapore and had it fitted in my car 1 year ago...Everything was fine until just 2-3 months back....

Tried dis-alarming my car alarm oneday and the siren frozen and the battery was flat. Had to push start the car and drive it around for a few days to get the battery back to normal again.

Since then i took this fuse out underneath my steering wheel to disconnect my car alarm and my central locking from working and just open/close the car with the key.

Alrite ... the problem is whenever i put the fuse back into this wire underneath my steering wheel to enable my alarm to work again, 2-3 days later the battery will be dead.

I dont understand, what is it that is causing my battery to flatten after a couple of days of having my fuse connected up again? Something wrong with the car?

Can anybody shed some light on this. Very much appreciated. kind regards,

Scorpz.

I would remove the alarm, they're more trouble than they're worth and nobody takes the slight bit of notice when they go off...and when they do go off the damage has been done so it's too late! Make sure you're insurance is up to date and honest and relax 8)

Perhaps you should try upgrading your battery to a premium one or something

Thanks guys for the tips.

Yeh, i have been thinking of upgrading my battery to a more powerful one in my car as i also have a sub and amp in the car which rinses the power, its causing my lights to dip and dashboard lights to go on and off slightly lol.

So yup, i think i will upgrade the battery very soon. Thanks for your help!
