induction kits...again, sorry!

I'm apologising in advance as I know induction kit topics probably pop up all the time. I did search for info on what I'm about to ask, but couldn't find much
Anyway, I've been searching for an induction kit, and narrowed it down to two:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PERFORMANCE-AIR-F ... dZViewItem
or...
http://www.knfilters.com/57i/57i-induction-kits.htm
I'm not sure if the first one is genuinly the same as the K&N, or if it will be any good. It does seem cheap, as I can't find the K&N for under a £100 (if anyone knows of somewhere I can find it cheaper...?) Are all induction kits kinda the same? I'm not too bothered about power, just am after a bit of a deeper sound, but I wouldn't mind a few extra horses.
Any help and suggestions appreciated.
My polo, if anyones interested:

Can't comment on those kits but I can reccomend Pipercross for the 16v's.
When I bought my 16v it already had a Pipercross filter on it.
It sounds awesome under hard acceleration, gotta be one of my favourite things about the car

thank you Tris, I'll have a look in to the Pipercross kits, possibly another option! I need to get my rattly exhaust sorted before I fit it on christmas day

so I can hear exactly what it sounds like, at the moment all I can hear is a nice rattle from under the car!
Thanks again!
Anyone any info on the link from ebay, still undecided whether to ask Santa Claus for it!

Not too sure about the ebay link personally, never heard of them.
Hopefully someone else may have.
While we're on the subject, anyone got a BMC CDA? They're meant to be really good - motorsport quality - but they're not cheap.... just wondered if they're worth the price?

Polo 1.0i/1.4i/1.6i 8v Year: 1995 on
Is that 16v compatible? Or doesn't it matter

Thank you for searching for the link, lol you're right, you are quick!

That's what I was wondering. The 16v one...

£96, still cheaper than most places so thank you mysteryboy!

Forgot to say, I've found a Pipercross Induction Kit from
www.potn.co.uk for only £65.99, so will look in to that. I'm still undecided about the one off ebay. It gives a K&N product number which is the same as the induction kit he is selling, however when I searched this, this is what I came up with...
http://www.knfilters.com/search/applica ... od=57-0365
Can't see 6N on there, only 6N2?!
So it's either risking getting the one off ebay for £63.99 including delivery, or buying a Pipercross from POTN for £65.99?

Dont risk it... Only buy if you're 100% it'll fit. I haven't fitted one yet so I cant really help. But give it a while Im sure someone here has done it & will be able to point you in the right direction.

Yup suppose you're right. Well I told my mum, I mean Santa, that I'm not sure which one is best yet, she's pretty sorted when it comes to Christmas so she's in no rush! Thanks again mysteryboy.

Will do, I think I'm going to forget about that ebay thing, I just read his negative comments, he doesn't sound too nice, quite rude with his replies. I couldn't see one on there genuinly for my car, just ones that claim to be, so I'm going to ask Santa for the pipercross induction kit. Hopefully I'll be outside on Christmas Morning fitting it, along with the debadged grill!

First of all, nice looking Polo you've got there
and second, just an induction kit won't increase your bhp or torque, it will increase the 'sound' of your engine
And I'd go for the K&N, maybe a bit more expensive, but then you'll know you've purchased a quality item, not some rubbish thingy from china or something
