Hi all hope you are wel, my car failed an MOT because the pasanger side top bearing colapsed...so i had a garage change the bearing and the wheel bearings as they were nackered....i jacked the car up and the spring on the pasanger side is still moving   all the other springs are fine and dont move when the car is jacked up.
do you recon the shock is at fault?

Damn cars!

Mines failed on tyres, ceased handbrake and my bonnet catch is bent after a recent crash!

Ive never had a car that has passed first time! I hate it.

Hope you get yours fixed asap.

that sucks, hopefully you get it sorted
my car went through 7 mot's last year as the wheels were rubbing on full lock
initial mot failed
knocked it back with a hammer, still not enough
fitted 3mm spacers too, still not enough
bought a grinder and went nuts, still not enough
went too nuts and made a couple of little holes, failed on having couple of holes
filled it in with body filler and went back, has to be welded and still not enough
got bodyshop to cut out section and weld in a shaped plate and still had 3mm spacers on, just enough
vw centre were alright about it though, got the 6 re-tests for free

thats pretty annoying when you have to spend a lot more than you have too
that was when i had 16*7" wheels on, no probs now with 14*8", can fit my fist between the wheel and inner arch on full lock

I dont know how mot's work if it fails... is it possible to take it to another place? Maybe some will turn a blind eye to some of these things...
Obviously youll need to get these things fixed as its for ur own safety
