Been looking thru the Porsche Design 90 posts (Very tempting I must say) and you mentioned a 40 series wheel.
Is this the teledial design, or something a bit older ?
Would appreciate any pics you might have.
Also any pics of the new mats ?
Cheers

the '40' refers to the aspect ratio of the tyre, ie you need a 195/40 on a 16" wheel to retain the correct overall diameter.
Design 90's only come in 16" and widths from 6"-9".
Tele's can be had in 15" and 16", not sure on the widths though.

Yep, it's the tyres I was on about.
The mats aren't in yet- apparently on back order. I'll get back to you as soon as they're in.

Much as I like the Porsche wheels, I think I'm probably gonna go with a BBS X Spoke lookalike.
For about £500 I can get something like the Rondell Design 58's in 15" including cheapo tyres.
Where as the Porsche Design 90's are likely to be over a grand once you've; bought the rims, had them polished, bought the adapters, then fitted tyres.
Still worth dreaming about though.

I kinda had the same train of thought, I love the Porsche wheels, but with the ultra low profile tyres, the adapter, the polishing... It adds up.
Quite happy with how things turned out though.
