Dashboard removal?

does anybody know how to remove the dashboard from my 6n?
any instructions would be great....

i could do with this as my heater matrix has given up,,a manul will help us both i think.

hahahaha!
did it!
took me half hour!
you have to remove all dash accesories, e.g...glove box, stereo, swithes, clocks....EVERYTHING!
then theres 2 nuts on passenger side and drivers side in each corner, remove them, and when you open the doors theres a bolt on each side, remove these aswell.
de-tatch all wiring loom from dash as its cable tied to almost everything, amd pull dash out!
simple....
im in a rush so i'll post a proper write up in any1 needs it...

you dont fancy earning a bit of brass one afternoon do you,,,,what did you do with the airbag mate.did you have to do it because of the matrix aswell .

my polo dosent have a passenger airbag... lol
if you mean steering wheel airbag then it just unplugs from under the steering rack.
where abouts are you?
and why would you need to remove thw whole dash for the heater matrix?
you only gotta move the centre piece of the dash rich....
i took mine out as im painting it.....but now im tempted to change it!!!

really,is that the part where the heater controls and head unit go?? a garage said the entire dash has to come out.so have one or two folk on here,,,im near leeds,,,you mate???

thats the part mate.
you can remove all the trim around the stereo and controlls and get to it from there....
im in leicester mate....

basttards,,,,are they just talking trype then,,im gonna have a go this weekend if its not to big a job,thought it would be huge,,,,wish me look.
