Hey, go to GSF car parts and grab your self some PAGID brake pads cheap!!!!! If u need brake discs then go for the Brembo discs they do too!!!! i very highly recommend this setup as i had this on my old MK4 and they were ace!

thanks AK, they dont seem to have the fast road pads for the 1.4 8v. r they the same as the 16v coz they have them item # 64520F? what do peeps think? and do bremo discs properly work with pads that fit the mkIV?

I managed to get em. Best thing is to go in store and ask them. maybe they not listed on website?!

As for discs, i just got the brembo ones. NOT max ones. I dont think 16v ones work dude

Could be brake dust build up dude, or whoever fitted the pads didn't use copper grease.

Best thing to do is go in and ask if you have one local, they'll more than likely order you some in 8)

they defo do the fast road pads geez, as i got em previously, unless they recently stopped em :? I bought them instore though. I fitted them myself, so i may have the box somewhere in the garage, as i tend to chuck the old parts in the garage (dunno why? lol) ill have a look for it in a bit and see if i got a p/n on there

ECP's site is so easy to work, you put in the car details first!

It's not like GSF's site where you have to hunt them out of a long list!

I recommend ATE discs and pads. They're the OE ones made by the people who make most of the calipers.

I've been running them in many of my previous cars with no problems.

I cant seem to find the p/n for the PAGID fast roads mate, must have chucked the box out  .

I went onto the website and they dont list em. But they have the normal road ones. Ive used these too and they were very good too.

the part number for them is 64256A for the set. Im assuming ures is a 60bhp 1.4 8v?
