Haynes Manual

Popped into local car shop today to get some bullet connectors and crimpers to do my rear lights. (Several calls to Hella about adaptors brought no joy. Do I hear Ash saying I told you so)

Anyway while I was in there, I thought I'd get a Haynes Manual. Nice bit of light bedtime reading and all that.

So I find the Mk4 Polo one and it says on the front cover M-S Reg 94-99.

Are there any major differences on T & V Reg models ? (Both registered in 99).

I'm not gonna do anything major in the engine dept, just wanna know how to get trim and simple bits off without breaking stuff.

:d i told...........
as for differences i highly doubt it as at the end of a models run they tend to keep it the same so they can fund the new model

The guy in the car shop was pretty helpful cause he checked up on the latest published manuals and that's the last one available for the Polo.

He did tell me that the 16v wasn't covered, no problem for me but a bit of a bummer for those people with 16v. Is there a Seat manual you could use for the engine stuff ?

I'll get myself a manual just to stop me breaking bits of plastic trim when I take stuff off. Who knows I might even think about changing the oil or taking the spark plugs out !!!!

i bought that manual the other week.

and its the same colour as my car!

it gave me a bit more confidence about taking eveything off my car and putting back on again for no apparent reason
