Hi
ive been insured on my mums polo gti for nearly a year now, i started on it when i was 17, so its a crazy amount of money to pay, about £360 a month. cover end's in march so whant to start looking around to see if i can get it any cheaper, have pass plus, and will hopefully have a years no claims. Im with its4me.co.uk car insurance at the minute, bout the only people that would have me at 17 on the gti. the highest qoute i had was near 12k. can anyone recommend anywhere, who you with, what kind of price.
thanks for any help/advice

Another Tom on the site
I'm 19 haven't got any no claims yet because I was a named driver for a year (I Passed July 14th 2004) I'm with
www.Elephant.co.uk on the 10 month bonus accelerator and I paid a little over £166 a month (it's gone up now because I had the front bumper smoothed)
That's with me as a named driver, fully comp, with my mum as a named driver.

Ohh, you're a named driver, that makes sense.
I now pay £177.16, basically with elephant, you pay a deposit, then so much a month. The deposit was just over £300, which means my policy for the 10 months comes to just over £2k.
But it's worth it for the GTi.

Im 22 have no NCD, recently got a quote from Direct Line for £700 fully comp. Turns out they now take into account time spent as a named driver on another policy with them to being some sort of discount! Bonus!
