hey,

i am looking to change the gear gaiter on my polo 9n 2002. Any one have any ideas how to do this as i am stuck??

the actual gaiter is attached to a square bit of plastic which slots into the recess in the gearstick hole.use a flat bladed screw driver to pop out the plastic, (the material is stapled onto the plastic) lift this up there should be a goldy coloured collar near the top of the gear knob, use the screw driver to loosen, pull up. et voila.
