there was a guy on here saying his headlight buzzer had stopped functioning and it was annoying him. well i have accedently found a solution.

when i installed my old headunit i connected both the swithced live and perma live together as the switched live didnt work. and the buzzer slowley stopped working. now i fitted a new unit yeasterday and it had bullets on to connect the switch live to the perma live without going through the car wirieing if that makes sence. its like a Y shape and the buzzer workes again now. also i now get a warning beep when i stall ( sounds like th eoil pressure buzzer) altho that was working before i fitted a new sterio jus never beeped when i stalled.

my headunit is wired up so it comes on with the ignition so it uses one of those "Y" connectors you talked of. Not sure exactly what you mean by the wiring could you explain further and i'll give it a try. I'll also try and unplug my headunit totally and see if the buzzer comes back.

i left mine,,learnt to live with it,,,,along with the millions of rattles and squeeks in my car..you down for wakey tom

my buzzer jus doesnt work and ive left my lights on 2 many times now...

but anyway my car has no sqeeks or rattles thats really odd:s do alot of peeps have squeeks? even with my 15" sub in the boot i dont get any rattles drivin normally...all nice and smooth..even with stiffer shocks, i still dont get squeeks:S

nope, no squeeks or rattles here and i'm on coilovers
