I've broken one of my parcel shelf things...hmm you know the little nobbly things on the tailgate that hold the chord! Bad design fault or what! I think the whole inside rear tailgate section will need replacing! Any ideas?

This happened to me on my last Polo. Fortunately it was still under warranty as I couldn't go down Dino's suggested route - like you there was no sign of the little bit that broke off! The garage replaced the whole interior section under warranty. Sorry I don't know the cost. Apparently it is a common fault.

Unfortunately...... my new 9N3 still has the same design flaw....

Well I managed to snap off both of the lugs (or whatever they're called) in my polo, luckily managed to find both of them though.

So anyone got any good recomendations for a decent glue to stick them back on with?

Talk about p*** poor design...

one of mine has done this, was like that when I bought the car. I've noticed the mk4 golf has better ones and they're screw in as far as I can see, so i'm gonna do that.

mine broke off too and no sign of the bit that dropped off

Well decided to use some high viscosity superglue type stuff and it seems to done the job of sticking them back on.

Have to say I was lucky to find the thingies that had broken off, one was in the boot and took a bit of finding and the other was eventually found on the driveway.
