They're just glued on, I might take mine off when the weather's a bit warmer.

Apparently the best way is to use a hairdryer and peel it off...

Then use T Cut I think

Is this true?! are they really just glued on?! no holes or marks?! no filler?! no spraying?

***CAN ANYONE WHO HAS REMOVED THEM CONFIRM THAT THEY CAN BE REMOVED WITHOUT LEAVING HOLES / MARKS?

I didn't have to use a hair dryer on mine, it seemed to come off without damaging the painwork at all.

Just use fishing line to saw the glue off behind, bit like flossing...the remains of the glue I got off with WD40 or petrol with kitchen roll...and rubbed it alot !

i used a hair dryer to warm the glue and a cotton reel between both index fingers to act as a sawing motion on the glue to prevent any laquer or paint been pulled off,it worked a treat aswell, but its rare they come off a mk4 and dont leave bleached paint marks under them,,,i know mine did.

Aye I was going to remove mine, until I discovered the bubbling paintwork just under the rear passenger door one. So I guess they'll stay!
