POLO GTI GRUNDIG STEREO/MULTICHANGER

Hi, I recently purchased a polo gti, and am desperat to remove the standard stereo/changer. but, unfortunately, i cannot see any visable way of removing the stereo, ie no radio key slots. can anyone advise me how to remove it? please.... :oops: :oops: :oops: :wink:

hi there,

welcome!

If your not sure about the removal of it, pop down to your local vw dealer and ask them if they can just pop it out for you > shouldnt cost you anything

hi, would normally pop into local vw dealer, but used to work there, and they aren't the most helpful or brightest of sparks!!! was going to get my other half to do it, but he's not sure how to pop it out!!! :wink: :wink:
plus, you can always trust your other half to do a better job!!

oh ok they arent that capable then :lol:

there should be like two lil slots one on each side near the skip buttons...some ppl have cut up c-cards for it, others have brought keys on ebay.

wheres ya location?

thanks, i'll be marching the lesser half out to the car tomorrow to sort it. can't stand the way the standard stereo volume adjusts with the speed of the car!!! most annoying.

am in weymouth, by the seaside....
