Just a quick question:

WAs reading the daily paper the other day & there was an article on "modding" of cars & how police up here are repossessing cars for illegal mods.
One of the things was single wipers, saying that if your car has 2 wipers as standard then its illegal 2 only have 1? I had a single wiper on myold GT & never had any probs when i got stopped by Police or in my MOT. Was planning 2 do the same 2 the new GT but guess not...........

Technically anything you chance from standard is classed as modifiying. Something to do with constructions and use act iirc

You car comes with two wing mirrors as standard but you only need one. Some Mercs come with one window wiper, so I doubt modifying your double-wipered car to a single is a problem!

Surely if it passes the MOT then it isn't a problem?
