Just wondered who has tried tinting the original mk5 rear lights with spray? I dont mean spraying the whole things either just like 1 or 2 lines?
If so how much did it cost + how hard was it to do.
Pictures would be great.
Thanks

Hey,
I havent tried tinting my rear lights but i have done some lense tinting. I picked upa can of spray from
www.speeding.co.uk it set me back around £12 including P&P
- Clean them with some luke warm soapy water
- dry them
- take your time and spray a nice light thin coat of spray
- give about 30/40 mins inbetween coats
- repeat until happy
I know it isnt a member of the VAG family or a Polo for that fact but this is my mates old Clio which he had
I have also done his Ford Focus ST170 just before xmas
if i can help with ne thing else i shall try me best, hope it helps you
Rich
P.S. some others may be able to give a more precise step by step just wanted to give general idea as im amateur but more than willing to give things a go

I thought about maybe doing something similar to the MK4 golf GTI rear lights with the tinted strip thro the middle
