Space Saver Tyre - What Size??

What size is the standard space saver tyre in a Polo 16v - 14" or 15" ??
Does the GTI have a 15" space saver ?? (due to 15" BBS ??)
Can the space in the boot take a full 15" tyre with alloy or space saver only ?? (prob space saver only right ??)
Basically I now have 15" alloys all round, wondering what would happen if I got a flat - would the space saver in the boot be 14" and therefore the car would not be level on the road when its fitted ??
