Standard GTI alarm? Cat1/2?

Hi,
As above really, did an online quote earlier, there was no option for factory alarm, so i just said cat1, is this right? I hope so, as the quote was pretty good!

Yes I am sure its a cat1....

Yes I am sure its a cat1....

as far as I know it isnt - might be cat 2, but dont quote me on it - best off calling a dealer, who may be able to tell you

Ok the reason why I said it was cat1 thats what me dealer said, I will check paper work....

its only a cat 2, cant remember off the top of my head what features distinguish it from cat 1 but i'll try and have a look!
