my sentiments exactly....from the outside it looks like every other chavved up ford, except he's paid £50k to look like a prat...and he can't even answer the sneers because he wouldn't wanna go above 10 mph and risk getting his engine dirty.

i'm biased in that i don't like fords but i'd have the same opinion if someone did that to a G40.

like i said, im not the biggest ford fan, but i can appreciate the hard work thats gone into that motor, wether he drives it or not.

If it was a mk1 golf/polo people would have a different attitude

Sierra Cossies are cool, Tail happy fun and all that but I wouldnt spend that much time and effort getting it that clean

Sure it looks amazing but I would be scared to drive it and when you have a car capable of what that is the last thing you want to do is just stare at it!

I remember reading about this car a year or two ago, it's kept in immaculate, original condition and only ever gets driven on MOT day

But this restoration work takes away the originality of it I think :(

Gorgeous, but I'd much rather see it blasting past in the outside lane with a bit of grime on it.

That is an awesome car, its not a 'chavved up ford' or anyother burbury related names aimed at it !

That car would outrun any any polo gti that has had 50 granmd spent on it, regardless what people say because of how much they love their polo !

Id love to own that peice of extrodinary enginering, i think your all forgeting that when this car was first made and mass produced chavs were not around, well not as in bulk as they are today and could certainly not afford one of these !

Quicker than an r32 but still gets called sh?t and ugly !

Whats going on !!! :?

I reckon if you chucked £50k at a Polo GTi or any Polo for that matter, you'd be able to come up with something special enough to wipe the floor with it.

Its basically a show car by the looks of it, no-one in their right mind would do that to a daily driver, otherwise it would need doing every couple of months.

How can you diss Cossies?

They're awesome cars! Very short sighted to hate all fords.

I don't, I love cossies. Especially the Escort, they're stupidly quick!

Amazing level of attention paid there. Much respect.

2 things that spoil it for me tho, the "405 BHP" on the pulley cover, too chavvie. The other is those wheels, what a fecking travesty, needs original wheels, nuthin else will do
