Im bored of mine! sorry to say spent far to much on it and it still needs more done!

Im getin my schmidts mirror polished just so it looks diff for a bit before i sell it after this years shows!!

I need more power and i just cant think about spendin 3k plus to get it around the 200bhp mark rather spent that on a new car!!

S3
Cupra R
Scooby

One will be had next year or the end of this one!!

P.s everyone i've owned this for 3 years now so i think im allowed to be bored!!
I've had 4 sets of wheels, 3 sets of suspension, its been in the bodyshop more times then i can think of, 3 sound systems, three sets of mats and i have more recipts than a bookies notepad!!

Yes and No. I still like it and i'm still gonna mod it, but i'd like something quicker.

I could change now but i'm hoping to get a flat in the next year or so and getting a new car would put that plan out the window. 8)

I wouldn't say I'm bored with it, but like anything it gets a bit samey after a while.

I still love getting in it in the dark sticking on the Xenons, and having nice blue dials to look at 8)

Oh and overtaking at 82mph (TomTom said that anyway) in 4th

dont you mean overtakin at 100mph in 4th (on an authobahn)

I dont get close to bored. I sit in my friends 1 year old yaris sport and take in the cheapy plastic feel of the interior, with its very japanese dash and rattles galour.

Then I jump in my polo, turn on the xenons, they flicker as they spark up. The sat nav unit glows in the dark surrounded by a cool blue and tints of red from the switch gear, and i smile cause I know im in a quality car now.

And it has a bit of poke too.

I still like mine. I contemplated changing it for a short while when news of the new Polo GTI was released, and I was tempted by a Seat Ibiza Cupra too! However I've now decided that I'm keeping the Polo unless the need arises to change for something bigger!

I've had mine for nearly 2 and a half years now and its been standard until the exhaust went on, so I'm really looking forward to getting some coilovers onboard this summer, along with some other changes - B&M for example - it should alter the way the car performs and handles quite a bit I hope!

The xenons are a major benefit with this car though, nothing else I looked at had them, at least in my price range!

A lot of people get like a two-year itch with car ownership, and thats why I was considering changing too. It just seems to be a point where you kinda think, "wish I had something bigger/faster/flashier*", don't know quite why its two years though, but there seems to be a pattern!

By the way, I voted that I'm not bored

*delete as appropriate :P

I am coming up for having the Polo for 4 years soon and I am starting to get bored I have done about 50k in it. Its got a great standard spec which even today isn't matched by a VW car, its fairly quick and is rare on the road.

Really just looking for more speed and something alittle bigger. Fancy a new Golf GTi or a Focus ST however the Seat Leon Cupra R is a good deal at the moment as they can be picked up pretty cheap now the new model has came out seen a couple with under 25k on the clock for under 10k, a remap will see 270bhp.

The Polo has been a great car and holds it money better than most small cars I payed 9k for mine 4 years ago and was being offered 5k against a Golf GTi (it is over book but they wouldn't give me a discount on the Golf) losing 4K in 4 years and 50,000 miles is good going in my book.

If you were going to change, i would definately recommend the Leon Cupra R. My boyfriend has one and they are great. Once chipped they go even better. I was amazed when he bought it. Great cars to drive too. They dont come with Xenons but he has bought the kit to go in them so you wont be downgrading your lights!! :D

He says he likes my polo though coz its like a big go kart!!

people are allowed their own opinion ya know !!!! no need to call them 'fecking stupid'. . .

yea im bored with mine. . .luverly car and it has served most of us well from my convo's with people. . but at the end of the day,, just like everything, boredom does set in.

Not sure what im gonna do, im happy to drive the phat beemer and also the topless Merc at the moment when i can for some fun an excitement.

For some reason, and i honestly dont know why. . i really feel the need to get a BIG PHAT Audi A6 quattro/normal . . i know a few mechanics that work for them so servicing etc wud be cheap as. . .

anyone ever driven an A6 ? any good?

Cal

not a GTI owner and sorry to snoop or drop in but im very pleased to see what Calvin has put about taking an interest into the larger side of the market...im only 21, going to be 22 in march and i have to say its weird but i have rather taken a liking to the A4/A6 over the traditional hatchback

Rich

P.S. i thought i was the only one
