Getting more power from 1.4 polo, 60bhp ?

hiya, I'm pretty certain that my polo is a 8valve one....it doesn't have alot of power so I was wondering (hoping) that you guys had some ideas to get more out of the engine? are there any motor-kits ?

If the basics like an induction kit, uprated exhaust and a chip don't give you the power you're craving, you may as well get another car.
A n/a 1.4 8 valve is never gonna be fast tbh.
Consider a Polo 16v
100bhp out of the factory with quite a few tuning bits available

As above. Its a slugish car and with all the mods mentioned above you're looking at what? extra 5-7bhp?
Unless you got it for insurance purposes like myself... Im afraid you'll just have to deal with it. (Get a loud exhaust so it makes it sound faster lol... I have
)

1.4 8v are cool. Thats what I am getting. Its just enough to be your mates/chavs off the lights but keep the insurence fairly low. Wait a few years and buy a 16v
