My brother has a 1.4 8v and says that when he turns into a corner fast there is a real loud clunk from the rear. It makes the same clunk going over speed bumps!
Any ideas welcome?

Double check the locking nuts on the wheels...
Or if there is anything that might have got inside the rear bumper so it making that annoying sound..
Where exactly is it coming from & what sort of a noise is it? (check this by getting some1 to drive while you listen).

He lives miles away so i cant check it out till easter, he just says its like a loud clunk comin from the arch. Not constant just every now and then. I think a bush may have gone but its hard to say without looking.

I see. This may sound a little stupid... but you know on the sides theres like little compartments like the medical kit on ones side & the other side near the petrol cap... It could well be possible that theres a nut or something in there (as most people keep their locking wheel nuts there).
Could be something as simple as that.
