lose the standard wing mount straight antenna and fit a beesting in the roof at the back. Not a huuuge great long one but a shorter one so it dont foul the tailgate when it's open? Reason for doing this... well I never have liked the idea of a hole on the wing and IMHO the beesting would look right on a mk 1 hatch. Just fishing for opinions guys.
I can do it no bother as the headlining is oput at the moment and I dont think routing the co-ax lead would be a problem at all. Only problem I can forsee is if I get an amp integral model (most of them are) I will need a live feed for it, so will have to hack into the loom for that.
C'mon let me know what you think, and if it's been done before, anyone got any pics?
