where is the drain plug for the water coolant on a 1.4 16v ?

Wow you guys have posted to many replies! You really know your stuff!

Anyway here's the answer, my answer.

Could not find a drain plug so loosened off the lower right hose (as you stand over the engine bay) and let it all p*** out!

Tbh I thought that was how you're meant to do it anyway
