Am so pissed off, they tried to open my bonnet, theres nothing of value in the car.
Only thing I can think of is the black VW badge.
Gonna upgrade the alarm, they did the same thing to my old mk4.

Don't you just love some people

I know the feeling and feel for you mate. On the first day of being out of the country for nearly 8 months. I took my Corrado out for a drive parked it up and it was broken into within 1/2 hour of being left. A nice welcome back the the UK.

What gets me is there nothing to steal, they opened the bonnet only thing there is a Black VW badge on the standard grile..........
Nothing was taken, there was nothing to take.............

It doesn't matter how good your alarm is. If some thieving Pikey wants to break into your car they will smash the window and be gone within seconds. I have put one of those PIR halogen spot lamp hear to my car in order to floodlight anyone who approaches. It has worked so far.......

Mate, if they broke into your car, then opened your bonnet they where probably trying to steal the car itself...

Not exactly sure how they could start the car up with opening the engine bay, but im sure most new alarms have bonnet triggers for a reason! Another possibility is that they where trying to take the battery for drugs, they can use certain types of battery acid to cut smack etc.

Turns out autoglass are just as useless, I have to wait till tommorow to get t sorted.
Its parked at a relatives in a lock drive, sealed off the window should be safe enough.
Taken the day off work to make sure it gets sorted.
A wasted sunday and wasted day of holiday plus that will be £50 down the drain.
o well s**t happens !, its a broken window at the end of the day, people everywhere have much worse things to worry about.

If it makes you feel any better mate, I got a £30 fine for my numberplate and told to change it yet again.
