wing mirrors

hey just wondering do you get a mirror for the passengers side thats the same size as the drivers one, the lil one just annoys me because it isnt symetrical lol, maybe off a bora or summit?

Hi,
You can either buy an LHD passenger mirror to fit your RHD driver's side, making them both small, or buy an LHD driver's mirror and fit it in place of your passenger mirror, making them both the larger type! VAGparts can supply both types (the smaller is 130mm glass area, the larger one 150mm), when I last asked for a quote the smaller type was about £100 for an electric, heated mirror.
So yes, you can get the mirror you want.

nice one only just posted that £100 is pretty expensive tho, hmm suppose itll just have to go on the wanted list, o n i know £100 quid aint that much, but on £50 quid a week part time doin anythin to car is too expensive lol.

If you want a large one, I have a 'shell' for it, the outside bit, painted in reflex silver for sale
You would need to get the glass and internal bits though also

Both my mirrors are stubby ones. They came off that GTi that broke on ebay. I got lucky
