i fancy putting a gti splitter on my polo 1.4 8v does it just clip on the bottom of the existing bumper or does something have to be removed first!?

and if i want it painted do i paint it before i fit it or get them to paint it after
?

You will have to remove the standard lower splitter thing. Not the the bumper itself but the plastic cover thing. Hard work will take it off and then the gti splitter clips on with some hard work to, dont under estimate how hard it is, took me ages to do by myself but maybe its just me.
