to the day since i sold my beloved polo :( still miss it to bits and have only seen it once since it was sold on by the garage!!
i sold it because i thought i had reached the limits of the changes i could have made, but in the last year i have seen so much more that i could have done and i feel a little sick!
but looking to the future, i have a great car now which i feel has good styling and has economy and pace aswell and i do have some plans for it!!

but i can never see myself being as attached to this car as i was to the polo!!

There there Dan

I haven't experienced that feeling yet but the plan is, to try and keep the Polo when I get a new car in a couple of years.

I think I'd be the same as you if I let it go.

i had the polo for 3 and a half years and it was a very very weird feeling driving away and leaving it at the garage. and for the next 3 months it was still sitting over at the garage!!
at one point when i was desperately trying to change cars from the leon to something more economical, i considered buying the polo back!!!
it would have been ultra hard to sell it a second time!!
the people that bought it have kept it exactly as i left it!!

It makes sense, either a 6N2 GTi or a 9n GT

Or even the new GTi

I don't know of any other car within the same price range (or even at a 10k price range) that I would replace for my GTi. I know exactly how you feel.

Only other car I got this attached to was my mini, all the other cars are 10 a penny, I wish i had of kept that sometimes.
