I am looking at getting a set of these as one of my standard headlights is damaged so thought I'd use the excuse to upgrade. They are on ebay
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... %3AIT&rd=1
I don't know which to get silver or black. Has anyone fitted them if so do you have any pics of them on so I can see what they look like on a car.
Thinking black as I am having black rear lights Ronal R10's a 60mm drop and blacked out windows.
Cheers
Sam.

Hey sam,
The lights are pritty easy to fit, wiring and all, ill go get a few pics at the moment do you have height adjustment headlights as there is a modification needed for the wiring and fiberglass front panel to make these fit and work

Cheers for the pics mate. They look spot on. Even better than I expected. I do have level adjustment. Is it a big mod to get them to fit?

no prob dude, your ok cos you have height adjustment, so the plugs from the light wiring kit should go right on with no problem, the only mod i hat to do was get rid of the height adjustment wires and solder them for non-height adjustment spec.
As soon as you take your lights out and put the Angel eyes up to replace them, you will see where you need to cut away but the instructions tell you in the box how much by how much to cut away
before you cut, make sure the wires behind are safe from the blade

Yeah the black ones in this ad look like one piece jobbies but the clears are 2 piece. Are they any better or worse than standard ones for brightness fellas?

For brightness i have Type R bulbs, white/green [not too much green] and legal
and they are much better than my standard headlights, wouldn't change them for anything.

Nah they're both 2 piece.
The one piece ones I was on about are from another place. Not ebay.

I originally started this post fella and I am having the same dilemma as I also have a red polo. I am not sure but thinking black as have black rear lights and am likely to have my windows tinted soon. plust i've got a set of ronals on the way which are black where they are not polished. Think they'd look good with either though.
