Red GTi brake calipers on a polo tdi??

Would any1 know whether it would be a straight swap for the red gti brake calipers onto a 1.4 tdi, it has brake callipers front and rear already, not the nasty drums! Im looking to fit the proper red calipers, (not paint em!) to finish the gti look on my car and found the whole brake setup at a breakers but they saying i need the whole rear axle, discs and pads?? help any1 plz!
