Acceleration Problems

I have a 1.0 6n and the problem i get is when i accelerate the car just goes really sluggish. It happens quite alot. As u can imagine its a pain in the arse when ur trying to overtale lorries on the motorway.
ANY IDEAS?

i think im havin the same problem.
i had a look at the air filter (which really needs to be changed) and the spark plugs, see what there looking like??
ordered mine 2day, so see how it goes from there

i had that same problem last month, it was the fuel filter, got a new one and spark plugs and now i'm sweet, trust me, it will be that.

I DONT KNOW IF THIS MAKES A DIFFERENCE BUT WHEN IT GOES SLUGGISH THE EXHAUST SOUNDS LIKE IM DRIVING A SUBARU

Could be holes in the exhaust, My uncle use to test this by leaving the car on idle and blocking the exhaust exit with a cloth and seeing if it stalls, if it doesent then fumes are escaping somewhere.

I also had this problem, found it was one of the sensor's was unplugged, just re-plugging it back in sorted it.

iam havin this problem to!!!!
ive changed the plugs and air filter, this didnt help a grate deal, and ALSO sounds like a subaru!
iam not to good wid the engine side of things.

may be your downpipe mate, mines was messed and teh car was sluggish as hell got a new one and it was sorted

Sorry for the delay, found the plug for my air flow sensor was loose, plugged it back in and problem sorted.

The saubaru sound is car mis-firing isnt it?
I had this problem before, changed the faulty spark plug.
But im also having problems again, only thing ive done recently is stick a sporty filter on it.

ive tryed this method and i fount a joint in the exhaust is lose so im gunna have a pop at sorting that out and see what happenes from der, i have been told that this probs wont sort out my problem
