Red fades alot with time mate! Plus theres about 4 shades of flash red to choose from! so matching up is hard but can be done!

hi mate, hope this helps u a bit.
a decent bodyshop, if your door (for example) needed painting, they'd also blend the colour onto your wing and quater/back door to make the subtle colour difference less noticable.
but as moynas said, red is a sh!t colour for fading.

If i went to pick my car up and it was slightly different colour, i would demand they redo it, if it still wasnt right, id demand they redo it, if it still didnt match i would ask them to redo it....
... You get the idea.

I'd do the same, but theres only so many times they'd be willing to re-do before they tell you to Fook Off.
My mate had his re-done 4 times & just gave up

... I keep telling him to go back but is no use. A decent body shop should be able to get a perfect colour match anything else is simply unacceptable & if they cant achieve the finish your after then they shouldn't take on the job.

A decent bodyshop shouldn't give you the car back until they are 100% sure they have done a perfect job IMO.

my last car was a 1998 flash red mk4 i'd had since new. Between 2001-2004 it was reversed in to 3 times and got major re-spraying each time. Each time the red was a perfect match
