Do you know which type of locking nut is fitted? If VW type, can get a key from VW dealer to match ?

i dont think it is a vw one its got the smooth outer so i cant fit a socket on but its got like a pattern in the middle to fit the right socket on.

I had this problem when I was changing my alloys over. Luckily I bought a set of ebay which were identical to the ones I needed & poped 3 of them off. Was left with one where I tried the chizzle trick. I took it to a mechanic who welded it off. Now... You could buy locking nut removal kit which will set you back about £20 if I remember correctly & flog it afterwards.

I think it was on a lesser polo forum where they said you file down the sides and then use an ajustable spanner to remove it.
Dont count on this but check club polo

the wheel nuts are recessed so i dont think ill be able to get a spanner in there, and i'll check on club polo
