Aup.
You can get a kit from GSF car parts, and at the moment they are on clearance. That's if you're Polo's a 2 door.

I've done a similiar thread before. A couple of people have done the conversion using the kit.

LMAO, sorry dude, didn't read your post correctly at all, apologies!
Should be too hard mate. GSF do the mechanism for just over £30 for a pair, just maybe need to source some door cards and a winder.
Should be really easy to do, and if you remove the electric windows correctly, you could make a profit on the whole conversion.
Although when you come to sell, if you do, a car without leccy windows slightly de-values it. Up to you though mate though, why don't you like them? Here's me trying to get some!

They're more trouble than they're worth! I would stick with your keep fit windows if I were you. The number of times I switch the engine off with the windows down, doh! Sliding windows would be cool

That's what I like about the GTi, I'm pretty certain that even if I turn the engine off and take the key out that for a certain amount of time I can still operate the windows

Yep, I think its up to 10mins or something like that, might be a shorter time.
p.s there is a DIY guide on this forum, where you can install a metal bridge for the window relay, so its constantly functions - even after engine is off
