Nope its definatly a Mk3, :?

Had a look at the standard speaker in the front today, they aint' very happy! The surrounds are nackered! Got some Sony 10cm one's, is it worth cracking out the dremel and modifying the front (providing theres enough depth) or just whack em in the back?

I've not got any picture at the moment, but as its such a nice day I might give the car a wash and take some.

Hello Chris!

No photo's today because I've left the camera at work...

My girlfriend got me a new badge for the grill aaages ago because mine was missing the badge, so finally got around to fitting that today... Think it may of been a Golf badge, or just from a new model, because it was way to big! So out came the trusty dremel! and silicon sealer, looks pretty good now...

And got round to fitting some new speakers in the front, some Sony Xplov 10cm jobbers, they sound pretty pants really, but alot better than the standard ones! Its a bit tight cutting that plastic stuff out!

Anyway photo's tommorow...

I'm tempted to put it down some what permanently ;)

Might completly remove it, and put a bee sting on the back....

Never quite sure why people buy turquoise cars in the first place!

Welcome welcome :)

If you don't fancy cutting the dashboard up to fit the speakers, I've got some very nice 8.5cm JBL's that slot straight into the polo holes... they're just sitting in my cupboard awaiting a buyer :D They'll go about as loud as you can stand and have a surprising amount of bass (and excess-bass handling ability) for such small units - they dance all over the standard VW speakers graves!
(tell a lie, you do have to break one small plastic tab on the underside of the grille so they'll still clip down, but that's all)
