How come everytime I look on Autotrader, all the GTI's with leather are Silver (and usually high milage too). Looks like I'll never find a red or black one within 200 miles of where I live lol

I notice this, but you are going to have to travel to get a Polo GTi (unless you are lucky).

I had to travel 600 miles, round trip to collect my GTi.

Yeh, i had to travel about 600 miles too. Not including the 5,000 or so other miles i did visiting the other ones.

I wanted a silver one ideally with leather, and near enough every one I found with leather was black

I was lucky, I only had about a 72mile round trip.

Although I did it about 4 times (so 288 )

I take it all the others were just crap then?

That's the trouble with a rare car sadly. I'm prepared to go really far though and stay over night, that kind of stuff

I ve got one which is black and I had to fit leather and they a one of, shame there not heated,

i had a 340 mile round trip, and luckily the first one i went to was perfect luckily enough!

My Fiesta has leather seats and they are amazing, shame its going in the next couple of weeks

I also did 600 miles (almost exactly!) from looking at the car, to getting it home.

red - with black leather, although I wanted a black one with leather and didnt see a single one advertised in 3 mths! - just goes to show it's pure luck whats for sale when you're looking.

i looked for a black one with leather too, no sign of one, just braught a black 3 door in the end, atleast its got original vw sat nav, i guess that might be rarer than leather

Red or Black will do me fine either way. The silver looks good but not as good as those colours, though ModifiedMadness your car looks mint

I thought silver didn't look all that as well. Until I saw it in the flesh.

PhilGTI's looks amazing and its silver. It is one of my favourite cars at the moment, along with Moyna's. They are both my benchmarks at the moment.

ive had my polo nearly a year now and im taking it down to get it leathered up, im thinking a BMW style red in my black GTI.
any one got any better ideas

Personally I'd just go for black with red stitching. Have you got an estimate?
