How do you turn off the stupid Traffic Announcement function?

I've just driven all the way to Birmingham and back with my CD's getting interupted by traffic annoucements.

I've tried holding TP but it stays on?

i had the same problem it was sooooo f*****g annoying!!! i messed around with RDS button and the TP set button until it stopped interupting my cds

I fecked about with mine too until it simply didn't interrupt any more! I think I set the volume of the traffic reports to zero or something, but it was 2 years ago and my recollection is fuzzy

Turn radio on then take of the tp. (press the tp button with the radio on not the cd playing)
