cud try checkin the fluid? if thats the right wording, because my friends was leaking and he checked a cap and then that sorted the problem... hope that maybe helps mate

im pretty sure its your gear selector rod mate
mine has gone and reverse only works when it wants to, first gear takes alot of crunching and grinding to get into although other gears are fine.
but try checking your gearbox oil as i changed mine and it was fine for a while.

i think were all at the stage of the ''gearbox problem''!

mine will crunch the odd time but i must admit, im quite sore on it, i shift up so quick an i think this isnt helpin but the other day i was in traffic 4 ages, as there was a sorta festival on an all the cars go dwn 2 it, but as u know wen its busy, u gotta wait in line, an i had done sum cruisin b4 an then waitin ages the car was well warm, well on my way back home, i got stuck behind a granny! on a junction, she was bloody chattin an wouldin move on, so i went 2 reverse an as i did so, the car near stalled, '' i thought it was me clutchin wrong'' but as i put it in 1st again the car stalled an wudnt start fpr about 3 attempts, i finally got it goin after a sluggish start, any1 had this problem, i was thinkin it was coz it was over heated all day an just basically got tired??
