VW Access Codes

To programme a new key you need an access code. Each car has its own unique code. However VW wont give out this code.
So my question is does anybody know how to get hold of these codes?

I think the codes are sent from Germany using the VW internal computer network

Send in a note with letters cut out from newspapers saying you have his wife and will release her if he sends an access code to a PO Box you've set up
