Hi there i was reading some passed comments regarding the limits to stretching a tyre?

I found this info very useful.

Spec | Sidewall | Radius | Diameter | Circumference | Revs/km | Difference

185/55-14 102mm 280mm 559mm 1756mm 569 0.0%

195/45-15 88mm 278mm 556mm 1748mm 572 -0.5%

185/45-15 83mm 274mm 548mm 1720mm 581 -2.1%

165/50-15 82mm 273mm 546mm 1715mm 583 -2.3%

165/45-15 74mm 265mm 530mm 1663mm 601 -5.3%



So the 165-50 will be fine to fit and i'v seen them on a number of euro cars but has anyone done this in the uk, as i can get hold of the tyres quite easily but geting some one to fit them is a different story!

i cant exactly help, but i can tell you that if there is someone on here hu might be able to, they will probs wanna know the girth of your rim lol.

excuse the pun, but yeah seriously it would help.

ive only gone for a pussy stretch, 195/45r on 8" rims, these should really have 225s to 235s.

ha how dare u! yer the rims are 7"bbs if any1 can help or are running these tyres i'd like to hear from you, just want 2make sure they'll look good before i buy them!
